This premium plum wine is made by the traditional company Chinriu Honten from Odawara. It exists since 250 years. Characterized by its fine taste of the ume plum and a lower sweetness, than normal Umeshu's. In addition, this Umeshu was also added brown sugar, which produces a slightly bitter finish and is slightly lighter than the blue variant by the lower alcohol content. Like all Nagareume Umeshu's, it has been bottled with sake and not with industrial alcohol.
