In late 2021, Bowmore launched the Devil's Cask Series with comic book artist Frank Quitely, who worked at Marvel and DC Comics. This 23 year old single malt first matures in ex-Bourbon American Hogshead barrels before it got a two year finish in Essencia Bariques (these barrels are mainly used in winemaking). In total, only 6666 bottles were filled exclusively for Travel Retail and were sold out within hours.
Only one bottle per person and household.
