In 2022, the Italian bottler Velier launched the oldest Appelton bottling to date. The casks were from 1984 and matured in Jamaica for 37 years. A total of only 1800 bottles were filled at a hefty 63%. This is the 750ml for the American market that was also sold in Japan. An absolute rarity.
