This 15-year-old Akashi White Oak single malt was stored in Spansichen Sherry casks for 12.5 years and then in Konara Cask for 2.5 years.
The Konara oak is the little brother of the Japanese Mizunara oak and gives the whisky an incomparable taste.
So far, this is the oldest Akashi White Oak bottling ever launched.
Only 795 bottles were bottled in 2013 with 58% and these are extremely rare.
